Osaka has been the Japanese center of international exchanges since ancient times as an advanced city with warm hospitality. Osaka is full of tourist attractions such as Osaka Castle symbolizing the history and tradition of Osaka, and is proud of Bunraku Puppet theater, UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage, and our famous food culture.

The 14th International Handbell Symposium will be held at Grand Cube Osaka (Osaka International Convention Center).
It is located in the center of Osaka City and is capable of holding major international conventions and meetings as well as concerts and large social events. Massed Ringing Rehearsals and workshops will be held at all of the many conference rooms located in this large modern building. The Main Hall seats 2000 people and will be the venue for the Final Concert and Ceremonies.
Access and Accomodation
The Grand Cube Osaka is conveniently located in 'Nakanoshima', the center of Osaka and is only one hour from the Kansai International Airport. It can be reached in 20 minutes from the Shin Osaka Station of the Shinkansen(the Bullet Train). Nearby the Grand Cube Osaka is the internationally known Rihga Royal Hotel as well as many other hotels both deluxe and economy.

From Kansai International Airport (KIX)*Approx. 55 minutes to JR Osaka Station on the JR Line. 60 min. to JR Osaka Station by Airport Limousine. 10 min. to GCO from JR Osaka Station by TAXI.

From Osaka International Airport

*Approx. 30 minutes to JR Osaka Station by Airport Limousine.10 min. to GCO from JR Osaka Station by TAXI.

From JR Osaka Station
*Approx. 10 minutes to GCO by TAXI. *Guest may use shuttle bus service between RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL and JR Osaka Station Sakurabashi Exit. (Approx. 10 min.)

Keihan Nakanoshima Line
*GCO is Next to Exit No. 2 of Keihan Nakanoshima Station.
